Our Worship

We welcome everyone, from life-long believers, to people hurt by the church, and even if you have never stepped foot into a church – we hope you find your place at Zion Our facility is all on a single floor plan, and is handicap accessible..

We are excited to share the Good News that we are saved by God’s grace, as a gift. We believe there is more than one way to share that good news, so we provide two worship styles to connect people to God’s grace and goodness.

Traditional

We are one community of faith, with two styles of worship.

All worship services are on Sundays.

8:30 – Our traditional style of worship, when we sing hymns and worship responsively. We use the organ or piano in our singing. We hear Scriptures, and celebrate God’s gift of Holy Communion each week.

11:00 – Our Modern Praise style of worship. Zion’s Cornerstone band leads us in singing songs, and the order of worship is more informal and casual. We hear Scriptures, and celebrate God’s gift of Holy Communion each week.

Contemporary

Children in Worship – are a Blessing!

At Zion, we believe worship is one of the primary ways our faith is formed and strengthened, no matter how young or old you are, we want you fully be a part of worship!

We fully welcome children to participate in worship, at their own level. Children are invited to worship at our Kids Zone, which is located in the back of the worship space, where children can be engaged in worship, and still be a part of our community. The Kids Zone is available at all services.

What if my child gets upset, or is crying during worship, or the sermon? At Zion, we support you! Do what you need to do as the care provider to comfort your child; that may mean keeping them with you in worship, sitting by our Kids Zone, walking the hallways, or utilizing our Nursery. You know what is best for your child – you never need to apologize for your child being upset- that’s sometimes what children do. We want to THANK YOU for bring your child to hear the Good News of God’s love for them!

If needed, families have access to our Nursery during the 8:30 service, and the Nursery is staffed during the 11:00 service.
